Cristian began playing tennis in his native Chile at a young age. As a top ranked junior, he played in tournaments around the world including The Orange Bowl and The Prince Cup in Miami. He was invited to play at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy and attended for two years.
At the age of 17 he played Futures Professional Tennis, touring throughout South America. While attending Benedictine College Cristian played No. 1 doubles all four years, earning the team three-conference titles and a regional championship in the NAIA Conference. He played No. 2 Singles and was named “Player To Watch” freshman year in the HAAC and named among the top 25 singles players in the country by NAIA. Cristian was twice awarded “Sportsman Excellence” in his conference. Cristian graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music Performance.
He has been coaching in New York City, The Hamptons and in Miami for the last 9 years.
